The Marketplace in Johnson Student Center is open seven days a week and offers the biggest variety of selections. Students choose from wood-fired pizza, homestyle and chefs' favorites, sandwiches and pastas made to order, and a salad bar fit for any appetite. Sustainability is our focus: We serve local and organic items and vegan entrees daily, compost all organic waste, and also use many compostable takeout materials.

Late night of studying ahead? Saturday nights, when the Marketplace is closed, students head to Berkus Residence Hall for a full buffet-style meal. The Coffee Cart, also at Berkus, is another evening/late-night option, featuring coffee, tea, and an assortment of light meals and snacks—including many local and organic items.

Our student-run on-campus coffee house, the Green Bean, takes care of everyone’s caffeine and pastry needs. And the Tiger Cooler, located in Samuelson Pavilion, has the longest operational hours and a little bit of everything else—burgers, grilled items, organic smoothies, snacks, and socializing.
